Meekness is not simply being an easy-going person. Not just a gentle, quiet, submissive spirit. It might include those attributes but it's more than these. Meekness is a bold recognition of the power of Jesus in and through our lives! It's realizing that we are weak and Jesus is strong.

1. Meekness is more than being easy-going and kind-hearted. Think about Moses, David, Paul, or Some of the disciples in the Bible— in what ways did they show meekness?
2. Ask, "How will tomorrow look different having heard and talked about this scripture?"
